kEEpEr was one of danks original admins and used to play a lot. That was like 8-10 years ago. We only had about 6 admins at that time. Not 106. He still plays from time to time when I'm on. Never was a great flyer on Superman but as good as anyone at defence and will make his share of caps. I think Chuckles made it clear to us all that you don't need fancy flight patterns to be a top player.

That is a good point, this is a difficult enough match to arrange without overcomplicating it.

I am wondering, given the level of interest, if a tournament might be the best idea. That way, only players who are dedicated enough to play through a round, semifinal and final or whatever would be involved. Make sure the games are at a fair time as previously discussed. Set the dates first (say 5 or 6 or more to allow for lots of interest), then take signups, reducing the number of games if necessary.

It strikes me that trying to arrange a single match of 20 v 20 is going to end up being too elitist. Who's to say who are the biggest superman freaks? Let the scores settle that debate!

seems I'm being penalized because I joined (rather, they BEGGED me to join :) ) FSK. Without any aliases, if you combine Boogie]{night and FSK405|Boogie]{night, then I am at #6 with 92,391. Doesn't seem fair to many players that play aliased such as Tink, BanMe, and all those Um3 guys. Also, if you looked at Truth's stats, he would be way down on the list because he doesn't play much any more, but we all know he lEEt.

What should qualify a player as "LEET" is not total points scored. Any so-so player with enough time on his hands could easily make the top 10. I have compiled a list based on these criteria..familiar name with repectable amount of time played and, MOST importantly, pts/minute. There are admins who spec a lot (and others) so it's hard to maintain a good pts/min average. Honestly, i said before, a 1 single match would be a shame, it will be a little Elitist, i believe we should launch some kind of tournament as Worm said, There are many players wanting to participate and the number will go above 30 requests i believe.

I hate fluffy animals :) feel like to do an extreme shave on them :)

Good point about points per minute, but it is still flawed. Not only is there the alias factor to take into account still, but, for an example:

I spend a lot of time in spec watching players / dealing with asshattery. My points per min is low at under 4. However, take the three christmas aliases i used, christmasworm, postchristmasworm, and goodkingwormmas, the average points per minute is 6.19, which puts me higher than Atheist.

There must be some element of luck in there, as of course my christmas aliases are a smaller sample of hours, but i noticed after the holidays that i spent less time in spec over christmas due to the server being busy with lots of admins, and the difference in score per minute is pretty much double.

The specs can be interpreted many ways, that's why I suggest an open invite tournament.

True, but there are many players on my list that are NOT admins, so is a pretty fair guide for them.
I did say that admins sit in spec sometime for a long time.
This is flawed, but I think a more accurate picture than just who has the most points. Most time usally = most points. Amongst THOSE players, you can see that their pts/min do not compare to others.
Yes, many players had pts/min sky high, but not many hours. That's why I tried to list players with a reasonable amount of hours and were well known.

i had with aliases like R3l4#0' a score per min from 9-10 but when I look at my nick deviL or Chiko its with luck 7.
