Key notes from your testimony.
1 - You said you are an IT guy at the university. Is this correct?

(based on the info I have I can Validate Fawky is a different urT player and is not Salad. Meaning this fawky guy does exist.)

Primary Issue:
IP 131.227.4.149 was hacking on Thursday, 15/04/2010 (10:32). This IP had used the following alias's "Fawky (2x) - BanMe! (2x) - noobsy (1x) - Killer (0x) - China_Girl (0x) - Salad (0 x) - Terminator (0x)". It should be noted "Fawky" was the primary name or name used when the client first joined.


Statement:
- It is possible Fawky was the hacker/asshat that not only tried to impersonate you, Salad but BanMe! and China_Girl. Or possibly you have played on this computer once.

Home Work For Salad: In hopes or wrapping this case up.
- If you are an IT guy is it possible to track the origin of this IP 131.227.4.149 on said date and time?
- Do you have access to Fawky's computer? If so could you search his computer for a UrT hack?
(If possible: most hacks install a "secondary" Urban Terror launch icon used to launch UrT along with hack functionality. He may have simply tossed it into the trash bin after getting caught. You may also be able to look in his WEB history to see if he was web searching for a UrT hack. If you are unable to access his computer or locate a hack, maybe just ask him. - If he says yes, punch him in the face as hard as you can & kick him in the gut and spit on him. Then take a photo so we can post it with the caption "this is what happens when you get caught hacking".) <--- Hehehehehehe! Looks like we have a similar approach to this kind of stuff xD

Well,
I have had a conversation with Fawky and told him that offending IP looks like his machines’ IP in ATI (Advanced Technology Institute) and you guys caught him doing silly things on the server. I have showed him demo (‘Terminator_ipaddress_fsk405urbanterror41superman.dm_68’) that you posted on the forum. He said that it was him (no excuses as I had an IP and time of the offence) and he actually apologized for getting me into this sh*tty situation. As he is my work colleague I couldn’t really offend him (God only knows how much I wanted to….) as it wouldn’t go down well with my boss. I have informed him instead that I shall request you to ban his whole subnet from FSK405 (131.227.4.xxx) to get my ban lifted and my reputation back.

- If you feel Fawky is clean do you know of any student it may be? Im pressing this issue because if You and or fawky are not the hacker, then someone you know is using both your names in your location/next to you, while hacking. --> Find him/her and ship them to me in a little box.


Conclusion:
- If you can do the home work I would highly consider unbanning 131.227.76.45 as you have requested.
- As worm stated thanks for your calm professional manner in dealing with this situation.

Re: Cheers for that. I have been working in stressful environment for quite a long time (that’s why UrT is my main lunch time Stress Relieve Management tool) and one of the things that I have learned is that shouting, effing and chuffing doesn’t really help (quite opposite).

- Im sure you can understand why we may be skeptical and reluctant to remove the ban with so many IPs from the same location. In past case's we have found asshats IP spoofing in hopes of avoiding detection and ban.

Salad, like i said to u the other day, i dont believe it was u, and u got in the middle of a banned IP range, as i played with u many times and we never had any issues to talk about u. But i have to keep in a neutral side, because this is a very big problem.
although i never liked salad i like pwning ya meat :=)
hope see u again soon and this is a mistake, but i really appreciate your maturity on this issue.

Also...Salad...the info that I posted was to try to help solve the issue. I was originally investigating Fawky and ran into several "Salads" all from the same area. I was not accusing. Something smelled is all.

So the other Salad that lives nearby must be your home computer?

Case Notes:
- In retrospect, it was assumed Fawky and Salad were the same person given the geographical location. Fawky and Salad were both effected by the ban, though Fawky seems to have a dynamic IP enabling him to circumvent the ban, as Salad has a static IP. FSK405 is vigilant and will continue to add IP's of known hackers until their full sub-net is banned, as shown in this case.

- Salads Professional manner in dealing with situation has far exceeded my expectations and has earned a lot of trust and respect. Kudos to Salad.

As for Fawky:
- Fawky appeared to be a valued superman player until this incident.
- The unfortunate thing is he was caught and admitted to hacking. fawky has also used other player's alias's including his co-workers, in this case "Salad".
- He full on knew he was banned for hacking and the reason why his friend/co-worker salad was also banned and put on trial. Knowing why Salad was banned he wouldn't admit to anything until Salad confronted him with overwhelming evidence. I dont know how he is in real life but this should speak volumes about his personality.
- In FSK405's eye's Fawky will remain banned. This may be a delicate ban to deal with as there are several variables to deal with. Given that, Maybe Salad could have a man to man with him over a beer and help him to understand the consequences of his actions. (Fawky Should Pay The Tab)
- As Salad was inconvenienced with Fawky's actions I will allow him to "PM/ Private Message" me his thoughts on how to handle Fawky for the long run.

NOTE To All:
- This should be an example of how FSK405 tries to be fare when dealing with suspected hackers. Objectively, reviewing the facts. Salads level headed approach should be a model teaching others the right way to gain our attention and respect. I have no doubt he has been honest and forth coming with his side of the story, and again appreciate the professionalism.

Just a final thought:
