Scrim Settings: (Settings per FSK405 Member Discussions)
FSK405 members have the right to ask minors to sit out.
Server Password changed.
FSK405 members are allowed to Spectate if teams are even and a match is in progress.
Balanced Teams Required unless the captains choose otherwise. If there are an uneven number of available players the facilitator will ask for a volunteer to Substitute. If no player volunteers, the captains will select a player. Substitutes will be logged to insure no one is a consistent SUB.
(NOTE: SUB's can be a valued asset to a team being the eyes, ears, and voice of the team dont view it as a punishment.)
All above settings can be modified per captains approval.
TS3Players will NOT move themselves to the "Staging -LOCKED-" channel; Please allow the Facilitator(s) to move you.
Role will be called prior to each round, and players will be moved to Staging -LOCKED- channel by a Facilitator upon player confirmation.
Once players have been moved to the "Staging-LOCKED-" channel, all (confirmed) eligible players are locked in. If teams are uneven, FSK405 members have first dibs.
Captains have ~10 minutes for strats; if more time is required, please inform a Facilitator
All players must have a *proper* connection
The facilitator holds the right to create teams if captains cannot be produced in a timely fashion.
Tried a new format this week. We had the two captains for each round. We also kept the same teams for each round. After each round, it was like a Major League Baseball offseason where any newcomers were drafted and the teams re-evaluated. Because this is supposed to be for fun, we tried to make as even teams as possible, which I think we did. Trades even happened. It had a few hiccups, especially with the turnout (25 or more, woooohoooo!). May try it again, may not.
Round 1: ut4_filtration
Facilitator: Acetone
SUB:
Red Captain: Nikki
Blue Captain: fu daddy
Red = 0
Blue = 3
Lots of people for this map. It was a stalemate for the first 10 minutes, and then the server went bonkers. We reloaded, and blue quickly capped 3 times. It was like red was seeing stars from the server crashing, as after these caps, it went back to being a stalemate.
Round 2: ut4_canyon2
Facilitator: Reflux
SUB:
Red Captain: fu daddy
Blue Captain: Nikki
Red = 0
Blue = 2
Red could make no headway through the caves or to blue's flag. Dolt owned with the sr8, especially after blue took the lead. He was sniping around red's flag, as blue didn't need to cap anymore. Trancer did a nice job in the caves for blue also.
Round 3: ut4_sarlat
Facilitator: Reflux
SUB: Nikki
Red Captain: fu daddy
Blue Captain: Nikki
Red = 5
Blue = 8
It was decided before the round that everyone would play, and if the match got out of hand, the team with the extra person would sub someone. I think Pooty need to go potty at the beginning, so teams were even until the middle of the round. The map was very nice, as it was pretty even on both sides. Lots of cover and small doorways made for some nice firefights. Blue jumped out to an early lead only to see red slowly make their way back. The addition of the extra person helped red regain a five cap advantage. Nikki went sub (thanks!) and things evened out from there. Blue shot better, and won.
What did everyone think of the new format? I know the last round didn't end until 11pm, but I think it would have been longer if we asked for captains between rounds like we always do. It's up for debate I guess.
Good rounds everyone! Come back next week for more action!

I prefer the old way - The roster is inconsistent as the rounds progress resulting in questionable unbalanced teams. Plus you ass clown will always put Frog & I on different team.

10 years agoLevel 10You always poo poo on my ideas Dank...waaaaaaaaaaaaa.
And I thought that was rule #1. People tell me they start hearing weird noises when you are on the same team. -
10 years agoLevel 10Im sure it is not on purpose, but is that why when i play BF3 necrosis is always on the other team. ;)

10 years agoLevel 6Dank, thats rule number 1....separate Frank (frog&dank) credit goes to Nikki for that lil combo hehe, anyhow I'm gonna have to agree with Dank on this one I prefer the old way of doin things also. I know that this past sunday was our first run so naturally things were gonna take some time an after a few weeks of doin things this way then rounds will eventually be a lil faster an run smoother.
