Ghozt, you posted that you would ban ip's of any that play on a 4.0 server before the official release. I commend you for that. But, I (cough cough) accidentally d'loaded the torrent and although I haven't installed it, I'm feeling like a kid the week before Christmas who stumbles into his parent's cache of presents and has to shake every box.
Can we please just take a peak??? I promise to play no more than five minutes. Whadysay, huh?

Take a peak on a private server you have runing on your own pc, I would not suggest you set it to public.
I cant tell you what to do but try to respect FS's stance on this situation.

Thanks for the reasonable response Ghozt.
I really appreciate all the work the various dev teams have contributed over the years that have made UrT such a fun game to play. I go off to play new games all the time but I always come right back to Urban Terror. The last thing I want to do is something that would screw them or the community.
I, likewise, appreciate the work that you do in providing the best servers in the community, where I regularly come to get owned by ten year old junior spiders! Also, the FSK brothers and sisters are the best of breed.
I may "shake the box" and check 4.0 locally or I may just wait. But, I would never open a pub server.

However im still not so happy wiht the 3 day vacations thing going on .. i think it they should be a little more understanding .. the 27 days was pretty misleading.
