My Auth Key
Squrl, Fri Dec 01 2017, 11:06AMSo I downloaded urban terror onto my laptop, I went to put my auth key and it is telling me that I entered it wrong. I tried putting o in for 0 and that didnt work. Should I request another auth key be sent to me? Also I have my old config from when frog sent it to me like 5 years ago, thanks frog I knew putting a copy of that in my email was a good idea. Had it not been for you telling me too i would not have had it!!

I had to disable the auth key function here lately for me to be able to play some maps on our server. I would say logging in is only necessary if you plan on playing on a server that requires it (30+ etc)

OK so i just wont use the auth key for now. I am having trouble with opening my config, I could swear it used to open in like notepad or word, I could be wrong on this though. Anyhow, when I try to open the current config it asks me to download something from the store, like a document viewer. Any ideas on which one I should get? I tried playing a little earlier and ran into the problem of not being able to reload my gun. The button I had for reloading does not go with the mouse I am currently using.

How do you get around in this world? Maybe you should get a Mac.
Ok, snarky section over. Squrl, pretty much everything you need to configure for the game can be done though the GUI. Start up the game and walk through the setup menus.

Oh no... that Auth Key thing sounds like a video card virus.
I know a guy that had it happen, and he posted a pic tutorial for cleaning it.
