I don't know what to tell you, but two things I do know, being a honeybee keeper at one time. Honeybees wings are on average 200bps, wasps are generally higher, which is why it is easy to audibly discern them without visual cues.

Your pic is more wasp like to me, but the sound byte is a fly, which flaps over 300bps.

However, apparently it is a mosquito?

Yup. We call them sweat-flies, and they hover.
