Turban Error

Hey guys, it's been a while. I check these forums out every once in a while and it always brings back memories. I've had a great time playing urban terror with you guys over the last >10 years and one of the things that I enjoyed the most is bending the rules of urban terror and the underlying quake engine. I'm sure many of you remember playing superman with me back in the day and know that I spent more time in the air than on the ground.

During my adventures I have found a couple of really interesting bugs and I decided that today I would share my favourite bug of all time with you guys. What makes this bug special is that I first saw it happen in a real game of superman many years ago.

Short Description
So what exactly is this bug? To put it simply, this is a way to take the spectator flag. That's right, there are actually 3 teams in capture the flag. While the red and blue teams duke it out the spectators sit up in their ivory tower judging everyone else, well it's about time somebody did something about that.

The spectator flag and the real blue flag

Steps to reproduce
1. Take the enemy flag, either flag will do
2. Get kicked for TKing. Not by a B3 bot, you need to get that "Teamkilling is bad M'kay" message
3. Have someone kill your ghost. See the explanation below.

Long Explanation
When a player gets kicked for TKing, urban terror doesn't properly remove the player from the game. An invisible "ghost" version of the player is left in the game. If you played the game a lot before the B3 bot became popular you will know exactly what I'm talking about. This player is technically no longer in the game however if you kill them they will drop their weapons and ammo like a normal player, as well as the flag if they had it when they were kicked.

That's my personal favourite bug in the game.
Have you ever seen this happen before?
What's the funniest glitch you've ever come across?
