I can not join on the FSK urban terror servers
, Wed Sept 06 2006, 02:23PMWhen I try to join the FSK Urban Terror server I get an error message saying "invalid cdkey". That is the only server that I get it on. What could the problem be. This has been happening for 2 weeks now.

I own this cd and key I bought them brand new from walmart. Yes I play on public servers all the time and only have this problem on the FSK servers.

you may play on public servers all the time, but do you play on public servers with punk buster enabled AKA "PB". I have hade the problem is the past where all of a sudden my system complained about a CD key, where one day it worked and the next day it didnt. try deleting your q3config.cfg file from your baseq3 directory. quake will generate a new one. this might help, its worth a shot. < this is what i had to do. bakup you cfg file befor you do this tho.

What Zellis said, also, make sure you have your CD key entered in your Quake 3 settings when you start up Quake 3 Arena and Punkbuster enabled.

Well I have tried everything I know to do again. I even unistalled and reinstalled Urban Terror and I even uninstalled and reinstalled Quake3. I still can not get into the FSK servers. Just so you know, I dont have any problems entering the Wild Cards server or the Hotties server. I am just flat out of ideas. Maybe the FSK server doesn't like my computer. A friend said that it is because my computer is faster than the FSK server. I do have a bad to the bone system but I don't think its faster than the server and I don't beleive that would matter if it was.

ok try this go into ur baseq3 folder look for a file named keycheckdll.dll cut it and remove it from the basq3 just put it into ur doc folder for now the try joining the server

I figured my problem out. I had to delet the q3key in all folders baseq3, and mods, and the I had to delete all my q3configs. restart q3. I then started up in each mod so I could make new configs. I then copy and pasted my binds from my config.
