For those interested, The Fluxes will be holding a BBQ, Seafood feast in June this year. The Texans were invited, but turned us down, as traveling that far way from their homeland seemed to cause too much distress.

Our oldest son (Talen) is graduating this year, thus we will be hosting an over the top celebration for him. Fokker, Greenie, and DGrunt are required to attend as they live just across the border.

theoreticaly i can fly round trip from DFW to Portland on SPIRIT air for ~ $300

pick me up and provide some floor space and it could happen.

FSK405 and Friends BBQ (the official one, not the seafag fest in You-da-ho) is always Memorial Day Weekend...which is the last FULL weekend of the month of May. This year it is the weekend of the 23rd, 24th, 25th, & 26th of May.

Awwww my daughter is also graduating in June... Tough month for me since I will most likely be having a party for her the same weekend. Her honey and his mom are flying in from NY to attend.. Glad to see I am wanted :) maybe next year??

So folks, I think it is fairly obvious by now that this years "FSK405 2014 South Texas BBQ" has been pushed till 2015. My apologies to those of you that had your heart set on attendance.

That said, we plan to do it up right in 2015. Please stay tuned for details. In the meantime, I encourage everyone to crash the Salmon bake up north next month.
