Because FS has decided to lock cl_guidServerUniq to '0' in 4.2, your guid may be new on our SM server after this transition. This is expected behavior if your q3config.cfg had it set to '1' originally. There is NOTHING we can do to resolve this, so we all have to deal with it.
The SM server will stay up to date with the point releases that FS produces. You will need to do so also in order to connect.

Well I just spent about an hour and a half on the new superman 4.2.013 map..........some by my self and some with a few other players. Seems like everything is in working order i didnt catch any glitches other than i got to 25 caps and stopped. i played as if i was playing against other people checked all my environments as if i were looking for the flag.......seems like the superman move to 4.2 is going to be solid. You regulars out there that actually know the map........will notice the difference in the transition. I felt it within the first few minutes.....makes gameplay for me just slightly different. Hope to see yall soon........superman server needs to be populated all the time once again!!!!!!

seems like there's no way to keep the old UID, I've made sure that my qkey is the same in my urt folder as well as in the appdata\urt folder. I don't even wanna try to understand what they did lol
Anyway, my new ID is @24528, if you want to set me back up

well, something's too damn broken. I've made sure serveral times that my qkey is still the same in both urt folders (game itself + appdata folder) but still got another new UID (@24661) today. Could this be because I don't have an account at the urt webpage or something? I think you can unadmin the other one and wait until I manage to get it static somehow. TY though!

So I noticed when playing 4.2 many people are still trying to connect through 4.1 which logs them on for a second then instantly disconnects them. Is there any way you could put a notification in 4.1 saying now 4.2??? Just a thought seems to happen a LOT. If i wasn't a forum lurker I would have no clue and keep trying to connect there. I suppose if they were smart they would see it says 4.2 but its still showing up in 4.1
