qkey messed up after playing 4.2

yesterday I played 4.2 for the first time and logged in with my auth code. This seems to have messed up my qkey for 4.1 as I got a brand new ID when connecting to Superman. Does anybody know how to fix this? (Mac OS 10.8.4)

Devil's tip didn't help, neither did restoring the key from backup. Guess I'll have to stick with the new ID.
@Boogie: If you could make me @24316 a regular/admin again would be great. thanks.
