Reflux, I use vlc player and there's plug-in for Firefox that supports streaming media. It's currently showing a video play window in for each of the 4 cams that includes play/pause and volume controls. Do you know if this will work when the feeds are live?

It sounds promising since you have the controls. I've seen VLC play direct streams from our MMS source so I think yer in luck.

Heh...no internets at the lake...nothing left but the cleaning up now, talk about watching paint dry ;-)

But seriously, another great party!!! We were honored by our founding father's presence, FSK405B, and his lovely bride! Buzz and I went overboard on the meat again (no atomic ribs though) and everything we cooked turned out fantabulous (even if I do say so myself)! There were many friends we missed this year...Xyster, Hud, XP, WilyDuck, H8tank...to name a few. All and all, a good turn out, a great washers tourney, exceptional friendship/fellowship (what ever you want to call it). It seems like every year this thing gets better and better...oh yeah, and the weather was perfect, not too terribly hot, a nice breeze blowing most of the day....I'll be posting some pictures soon & start planning next year's event shortly after I post the pictures!

I left out Dgrunt, how could I leave out Dgrunt???? You were missed very much...hope you can make it next year!!!

Personally, I'm not opposed to doing another event on Labor Day weekend. I think the biggest problem with that weekend for most out of state people is going to be the heat...that is absolutely the hottest part of the year for us, and it is barely tolerable for those of us that live here, let alone people who don't. Other than that, I'm all for it. I'm even willing to fire up the pit if its just you and the wife coming down for the weekend :-D I think we could get a decent local crowd together, enough to make it worth while to fire up the pit and maybe cook one brisket, a couple of ribs, maybe a couple of chickens, and some sausage. How serious are you about doing this?

Quite serious, though it would not happen this year. We are hosting the Frogs at the lake at the end of August, Though 2013 im in. Unless FSK405 - Boots me by then.

the Frog's have a standing Labor Day camp-out obligation three hours due west of Austin, so the Frog's are out of the labor day discussions.

BTW - that is the worst time of the year to be here in Texas. Littlefoot said it best, the locals don't want to be here that time of the year. Maybe Wisconsin would be a better place to host?

I am taking off the first week in august. That week is the week of quake con in Dallas. I plan to have a bbq in my yard next to the pool that weekend. Those that would like to bring a sleeping bag that week for quakecon I have plenty of floor space. I plan to do BBQ on Saturday. Let me know if your comming.
