RE:rubberbanding
Update from AOWC (Art Of War Central) our provider.

* i have increased your server performance, please test this to see if this fixed your issue.
------------------

I am increasing the players limit to validate any change in behavior. The server needs to get heavily loaded for the condition to happen. Please post here any rubberbanding and lag. be sure to note the number of players on at the time of the lag. I will forward feedback to AOWC.

Thanks for Tweeking the resources, but we still have lag when we get to ~50 players. today we got up to 54 players and the lag and rubberbanding was unbearable. What else can you do ?

we can move you to another system, that is one option.

That would be great if you think it would fix the issue.

It does make me curious about a few questions though.
1. How many other vm/clients are running on the same box?
2. Would we be moving to a more powerfull box or one with fewer clients?
3. Would the same thing happen the future to the new box by adding more clients than the box can handle?
4. do you happen to have statistics that show what your cpu and memory utilization is durring peak times ?

For me it is about reputation... players who find our server laggy may leave and never come back to play. When rubberbanding happens it is not long before the server is emptied.

As it is, I feel that we got a great deal on a year lease for a 64 slot server but the down side is we can only use 45 of them.

The simple fact is that you''re not on a machine that''s specifically for BF3. we setup new machines just for BF3 that have special hardware. Moving will just put you on one of those machines. I don''t know why it wasn''t offered in the beginning.

Then by all means... please move our server.
