I suspect that in fine EA fashion, I'll be able to run 'ok' on some maps and poorly on the large maps with a large number of players, at least until EA pushes out their 5th bug fix after 5 months of being released retail.

Ultra is relative, depending on your monitor screen resolution and frame rate. But my GTX 570 sc will do fine :)

hey Sas... here are my OC setting on the EVGA 270 oc. they are stable and my max temp only goes to 65C. Im sure you can just drop them in, plug and play.

I use MSI afterburner to gain access to the memory core voltage ver 2.2.0 beta 8
my profile becomes active when in game only.

core voltage = 1.088V
core clock = 870Mhz
shader clock = 1740 Mhz
Memory Clock = 2220 Mhz

So far so good (I've stuck to infantry type maps though).

PS. nvidia released new drivers on the 24th - 285.62
According to the BF3 news, you could try opening ports up:

If you are playing on PC, please enable the following online ports on your connection:
TCP: 80, 443, 9988, 20000-29999, 22990, 17502, 42127
UDP: 3659, 14000-14016, 22990-23006, 25200-25300

I opted for option 3.

My duel core Pentium, with the support of 8 gigs of RAM and a GTX260. The answer is NO Play! - though I have a computer for sale.

I sport 12-16FPS all day! Whoot! -or not :(
