Scrim Settings: (Settings per FSK405 Member Discussions) - FSK405 members have the right to ask minors to sit out. - Once players have been moved to the "Staging-LOCKED-" channel the eligible players are locked in. If teams are uneven FSK405 members have fist dibs. - Server Password is changed. - FSK405 members are allowed to Spectate if teams are even and a match is in progress. - Balanced Teams Required unless the captains choose otherwise. If there are an uneven number of available players the facilitator will ask for a volunteer to Substitute. If no player volunteers, the captains will select a player. Substitutes will be logged to insure no one is a consistent SUB. - SUB's can be a valued asset to a team being the eyes, ears, and voice of the team dont view it as a punishment. - All above settings can be modified per captains approval. Rule Addition After each round players will be individually asked if they are willing to commit to the next round. A commitment requiring a player to notify a captain or facilitator if going AFK, along with being available for, 1hour & 10Minutes. This requires participants stay in team speak after a round ends until roll call is completed. The second round, I was unaware that frog and his group had been helping nikki develope that map. They all new the map very well unlike my team whom hardly new how to get to the fllag. I feel I was set-up by you know who and wasn't a very good test of nikki's new map. In the future maybe a new map should be put in your rotation for a week before playing it on a sunday scrim. I'm saying this because it would be more positive for people playing the map and feed back for the map builder. I think if any other map was played we would have given them a run for the money, live and learn. GGS

LoL Russa ~ You have a valid point to some extent. Frog and I were the ones that knew the rough layout. Our start was simple. 2 snipers on the outer battlements, 2-1 clearing out lower, the rest focusing on the 3rd floor where the flags are. I think it was Degrunts first time on the map as he was our main flag carrier. he was just running back and forth capping flags on the 3rd floor.

In the end I think Degrunt had 3 kills and 15 caps.

PS. Hawk ws causing a muck on the outer battlements. The kid was on fire though his score doesnt show it..

Winning!

Mapping Notes: We also noticed when in the spawn if you go into the pict with the cat in the tree house you will access the 2nd level next to a ladder that will take you to the flag level.

My Roster:
FU - do not think he played it more than once if ever
Earl - do not think he played it more than once if ever
Ace - never played it
Xyster - Played it a few times
Boogie - Never played it
Pez - Never played it
Degrunt - Payed it a few times, mainly trying to collide with someone in the air using the catapults
PMAC - Never played it
Frog - Played, knew it well
Dank - Played, knew it well

We just stuck to a simple Strat. We had 2-3 on the wall watching the parameter and 2 going low center and the rest on the flag floor. It took us three minutes to do strats and the rest of the time we were waiting on your team. This was a setup? Really....You're going to play that card? I mean you had BANME and the MAP CREATOR on your team...

You mean to tell me that your whole team downloaded it that night frog? We had no real strat because nobody new the exact location of the flag. Yes, Im playn that card frog. If even 2 our people had practiced getting the flag back and fourth we would have been in a better position to make an offensive on the flag.

Sorry guys, I could not think of any strats. My brain is jumbled from spending more time in grid mode than fleshed-out map mode.

Personally, I did not mind being on the losing team. It was flattering just to have it played. Plus, having that many on the map helps with finalizing structure. Would be even nicer to have it in rotation for a week to see how it does, but I could see it irking some players, so the occasional DJ'ing of it in might be better. I always feel odd trying to DJ in my own creations...

Thanks again for giving it a run!

Did everyone have fun? I know it sucks to get blown out, I"ve been on "that" team many times and it's frustrating. The great thing about these scrims though is that you get to play with people you like playing with. So even if you're being blown out, you can still have fun.

Maybe it wasn't the best setting for a large new map to be played...but who cares? The map is beautiful just to look at, and now the next time we do play it (which I'm sure will be soon...not too many maps that can hold 12 on 12), most people will know where they are going. At the very least it was a learning experience.

Excellent map Nikki.
