PunkBuster Update Errors
xyster, Thu May 05 2011, 08:11PMI'm getting the below error when trying to update. I tried running PBsetup as Admin, which I never had to do before, and still no luck. Rebooted a couple times.... help please?

Have you tried deleting the contents of that folder and retrying?

It appears I'm not the only one.
Page 5 looks like someone found a fix, or devised one:
Basically you have to do the following (in exact order)
1. Manually uninstall PB and run ccleaner and let it quickly clean the registry (just good practice) then RESTART your computer (the restart is essential)
2. Reinstall PB with the same exe installer (it is used to reinstall and install)
3. Run the separate PB updater exe and click "add game" then browse from the list and insert BFBC2 and then click on it and click "update" this wil manually download the latest updates (those html files)
4. When it says "finished with update" you will now be fine to play and should not get booted off
I'll try it out and see what happens. Couldn't hurt....

Would someone mind giving me their "wc002272.dll" file from their \pb\dll dir? Place it in Uploads in TS. It can be an RAR or ZIP also. That's all I need, me thinks.
