BAD COMPANY 2 FREEZING PROBLEMS
Problem #2.1 Bad Company 2 freezes (recoverable and unrecoverable freezes)
General Solution #1: “Unplug any voice input you have connected to your PC (i.e. microphones etc.) – you will be able to play the game
without it hard freezing. It’s some kind of sound hardware conflict”
General Solution #2: “turn ‘Hardware Acceleration’ for sound from ‘Full’ to ‘Basic’. This option is available by selecting
‘Start’ and then ‘Run’ – type in ‘dxdiag’ and press Enter; select the ‘Sound’ tab and then just move the slider to the appropriate setting.”
General Solution #3: If you have a dedicated sound card, make sure your onboard soundcard is not selected as the default

BTW - Make sure that you have the latest Realtek audio drivers installed. I had and old set of drivers that came with the disk that I installed. I installed the
new drivers and have had no crashes as of yet.

If your using realtek drivers for BFBC2 you should make sure that you unselect Noise Suppression and acoustic echo cancellation, if these are selected it will cause random crashes.
