Cool. It's hard to catch that ledge, most of the time it either stops you or throws you at the hotel overhang. I've never had it slow me down part way to catch van.

I always have problems with getting far - I can combo quick jumps with wall, crouch etc but circling that far is hard for me. I hit garage maybe 5 meters before truck.

Try making the first curve last longer. In the first video I cut it kind of short (1195 XY speed), try curving a little longer like this video. I get to 1339 XY in that one making it a lot easier. Two long smooth curves get more then four fast curves.

Had 30 mins time left & much of patience, so I tried the jump a few times:


First of all I have to say I realized sth:
If you jump on two sticks only, it isn't easy/possible imho to grab the ledge. I hope the two screenshots will help to understand it.
If you don't jump a third time, you aren't high enough and much too fast, because you're falling down. A 180° changing won't changing anything then. If you get it, then you're a fcking lux0r!!11eleven

See all this stuff is actually pretty ez. I use to do shit like this for STA back in the day and find illegal areas on maps, both before we could wall-jump and after. This is a great map for jumping but the best in my opinion is rommel. This is a pretty good one: The best jumper I have ever seen in cA*BlueVenom. So far I only know of 2 people that can do a jump on rommel where you start at left side vents facing tower and jump off the statue and end up inside the window. I will try and find it in my demos, I have millions so it may take a little bit. Also I will get in touch with bv and brolly, I have both cell numbers. Maybe one of them have it. This is similar to what I am speaking of but this requires teamwork and may be a little harder, not sure. Be sure to full screen this one, its ezier to see. The one I speak of you actually touch the statue and land first window.

CTF we're in the "Invite" which is like div 1. We lost our TS qualifier so we got put to "Main" Div 2 for TS. TS has 4 brackets and about 50 teams, CTF only has around 30 teams and 3 brackets.

It's a shame that I wasn't demoing yesterday when I did the most epic fail curb-stomp ever xD
Like in the vid above I jumped from the hq roof down onto the hotel roof trying to directly lemming onto the flag. But some teammate was defending it at that moment running through the flag so I curb-stomped the poor guy (captured the flag) and lemminged behind the hotel. I guess Creeper had a good laugh as spectator xD

Wily, recently a jump was posted (by BanMe, I think) where you can go off the red roof and hit the rear window on the Monte Carlo, shooting you over to the blue front arrow. Was that something that you intended? We have all hit the windshield, accidentally or not, and shot toward the pond arrow, but it seems the car was positioned just right to boost you either way. if that's the case, and it took us so long to discover that one, then that's just genius. I mean the whole map is genius, but new things keep getting discovered.

Wow. Yea I saw that video. The jump itself is crazy. In fact I'm seeing jumps that are really stretching the bounds of reality. I love it. Anyone have a best-of superman youtube channel?

So Boogie... you think that Monte was just randomly placed there? I can't imagine it's taken players this long to see the numerous strategic advantages that car offers. Minus the matrix-curve-jumps, heh. I put decent time into ensuring you could hit that pond arrow with a good Monte landing.

K, then if this isn't widely known, I'll peel the wraps on another of my favorites that seems nobody either knows or uses. That van in front of military building - offers you a route under the highway in spectacular fashion. Hit the windshield and bounce. You'll right-angle full speed towards the humvee, catch the corner and wrap around the humvee with your inertia. Need a quick play against blue? This should get you in a safe spot behind their lower spawns with some degree of safety/stealth. Works great for bomb mode too. It'll get you to the park quick, or running up to the highway, etc.

i know that jump on mainstreet but it doesn't really help me when I'm going for flag, so I'm not using it usually.

My youtube chanel is ChikoUrT - a few superman-jump-frag videos are on it but someone could do a supermanchanel where the players could upload the vids

I put some time into a "SupermanTutorials" channel over the summer. It was going to have everything from the most basic arrow use, to more advanced stuff like in DeviL's video. I was thinking of diving back into it this summer if there was interest for it.

Not a bug Dev...... A place to stop and shoot. I have landed that many times and its a great spot to clear blue spawning.

I used this edge for proper jumps like but sometimes it is just annoying :)
