HELP WITH URT!
NavySEAL, Sat Aug 28 2010, 02:23AMWhenever I try to open Urban Terror, it gives me the could not load OpenGL supbsystem. How do I fix it?!?! I am running Vista.

Uhh...ideas off the top of my head:
-Reinstall open gl
-'downgrade' open gl
-reinstall video drivers
-'downgrade' video drivers
-reinstall UrT (save your q3config.cfg first)
-hope someone with some recent Windows experience posts a reply

Remove your q3config.cfg from the q3ut4 folder and restart UrT, it will reset your graphics and resolution settings which is what caused all my openGL problems a while back

Two things impact this. 1) If you are on Win7 or Vista and you are using the M$ installed video drivers, then you need to go get the latest video card drivers from the manufacturer of your vid card. Visit their web site. If this confuses you, let us know the make and model of your card and we can help you get their. 2) If you were lazy and copied your old install of UrT to a new system, or installed a new vid card, or, your q3config.cfg could be improperly setting the video goop. go to where you installed UrT and look in the q3ut4 folder for 'q3config.cfg' and send it to the recycle bin. Fire up UrT and see where it goes.
Review these options and get back with us.

should be in "C:\Program Files\UrbanTerror\q3UT4"
Any time that UrT does not start it is the first thing you should do. Remove or rename your q3cfg.cfg. Restart Urban Terror. This writes a new cfg file like you had when you first installed UrT. That is, unless you've added new hardware like a video card. I have had that error when I set my resolution in game beyond what my card likes to handle or refressh rate too high.
