Ban Error
£emm0, Tue Apr 06 2010, 02:47PMI was on the server at around 2045 BST and had only been playing for around 5 minutes when the server autobalanced and switched me from red to blue. I started to get warned for stacking and politely pointed out to the admin (McDuff) that I hadn't team switched. I was then kicked and seem to be banned.
Please can you look into this?

it is a temp ban possibly up to 3 hours. Deal with it.

Its you r name it only shows to players and admins a / slash and then the warning but you never know it. you with the asshat name.when you are warned and you do not respond to the warning or don't change your behavior you will get banned even if you don't know it .sorry charlie....oh it wasn't a error!

like i said you were warned. and the problem i have is with asshats. also regarding the pms i did that for your benefit it wont happen again!

what Batmann is trying to say ///ell ///eapon is if u would change your name to well weapon he would not have a problem with it. Your name because of the way u have it makes it hard for us to warn you if needed and then when you are warned you don't know. Now about the team stacking im pretty sure you are right I was on at that time...teams were auto balanced and you was switched but as dank said it should be over now stacking bans are only 41 minutes or an hour.....3 hours tops try to play tomorrow if u cant then post again and someone will look into it for you as to see what specific reason ur banned for.
If you encounter someone with a name that is hard to warn admins just !list and !w(player #) and why. Make sure you have the right slot number it is the one in front of their name that should take care of it

u just were caught in a confusion weapon.
the server was with many asses at the time, teams were 10 Red and 8 Blue.
B3 changed u and teams got even, but just when u join blue team, GI (player) joined blue to.
i believe that duffman didnt noticed that and he warned u, because u were in red with him.
that was the mess. not your fault, and not mcduff fault.
only a misunderstanding.
we even discuss the subject while in game, but u get tempbanned and u didnt see it.
please change your name to help us all.

Well Weapon, you must be following this thread - you can see that your name, when containing /// slashes, spoils the way the server reports information and this is a true pain in the ass. You are a good player and on occasions have caught hackers, why not make your life and ours easier and drop the ///?

Okay, the points have been made. ell weapon keeps his name and might get accidentally banned or he changes it to avoid accidental bans, but loses his unique name.
