Why was I banned?!
impavid, Fri Apr 02 2010, 09:40PMI was playing for like an hour and my internet started acting up. I left the server and cycled my router. When I tried to log in again I get "banned" as a message. I've been playing this server exclusively for a while, I don't see any reason for my ban...

all I see is that you were tempbanned a few days ago for some kind of minor accussation. You should be unbanned now.

do you know your IP? Any aliases that you play with that would help me find your record? I see an impavid that was tempbanned on 3/31 from St. Paul. Is that you?

I'm impavid, but I was playing tonight about an hour ago. There were lag problems everyone was experiencing so I logged out and reset my modem. When I tried to rejoin I was banned. My IP is 97.116.160.116

I'm trying to figure it out from my end, but I only have moderate access to the server. As far as I can see, you are not banned and weren't banned tonight. I see the IP you gave me is from the same spot, but you're listed as 75.168.253.107
At any rate, 97.116.160.116 is not banned either.
Try letting the connect screen linger for a little....
Otherwise, I sent an email to mindriot...he's the B3 superadmin and if there's an issue from our end, he'll figure it out, maybe later tonight and no later than tomorrow.
Sorry about it impavid. We'll sort it out one way or the other.
