i am banned on server?

ive only ever seen a ban of a few minutes (5 iirc)...three hours ive only seen from "hack" warnings.

well that was shitty, i went afk to talk to my girl, didn't realize she'd want to talk all night...came back and couldnt log in, about changed ip but i went to sleep instead...

i asked an admin that came later and they said b3 "adds up the warnings", which made me assume it was something else.

Just an observation- you can avoid problems such as this by moving an AFK player into spec instead of warning them. If the server isn't full, and they aren't going AFK repeatedly, I always do a !force [player] spec. Problem solved. Server full? No need to warn if they've been AFK for awhile- !k [player] [reason] will boot them, but allow them to rejoin when a slot opens. Warns of any type should really be reserved for asshats who continually disrupt the server. AFK doesn't usually qualify. My 2 cents. :-)

I've been noticing the player xXsinghXx (I THINK i got it right)going afk frequently. Server was full and we were getting beat bad. I had asked him the night before why he goes afk so much and he just agreed and joked about it. So, after that discussion, I just started warning him hoping that maybe he was just swapping weapons or whatever. I always warn with expectation that the player will let me know that they are there. So he got kicked by b3 and came right back and went afk again so I gave him about 15 - 20 minute ban so we could finish the game. We were a man down and he and player sourpatch were both afk, so we were actually down by 3. I hate moving someone to spec so that they can come back and question why and you get into this conversation in the middle of a game.
