Team Speak Question

$|SantaClauzzze, Mon Jun 01 2009, 04:34PM

When I use Team Speak it doesn't seem to want me to be able to log in as a registered person. I'm using TeamSpeex on an intel mac and it won't seem to work. Last night I when I was using teamspeak it said "Registering SantaClauzzze" then "Registration Successful". Then today I tried to log in as registered but it said: You entered the Server Password Try logging in Anonymously, or use a correct Login/Password combination. I'm registered on the site.

Please help,
-Santa

in order to enter ts as a registered member, an admin has to be in ts and register you while your in ts. until then, you have to log in as unregistered I believe. my memory is fuzzy, i'm sure someone else can detail more.

I think Xyster is also using Mac.. not sure if I recall correctly or not.

I was use TeamSpeex, but tired of the incompleteness of teh Appleness, and am on bootcamp'd XP x86 now. I think i recall enough to help, and am an admin.. if you see me on, ask, and when I hit a lull in gameplay, I will try to help.. of someone else does not beat me to it :D

TS is completely independent from the website. You have to register in Teamspeak with the TS server. Once you do that, your login credentials should work just fine.

An admin can grant you rights to register yourself.

That's what I thought happened, it said "You are now allowed to register with the server" then my laptop died...
Would an admin have to allow me to register again because I was logged out(stupid laptop battery)?

Yes. When you join up look for an admin and ask them to grant your registration. Once they do that, you can chose a login name and password for the teamspeak server. Then you will be able to login as registered instead of anonymous.
