There is a wide range of options when it come to a Mic / Headset. You can spend 5$ on a mic that would work or as much as 250.00$ for a high end head set. If you are looking for just a Mic, i wouldnt spend more than 20.00$, if you goint to buy a head set, try to make sure it is one that not only has good quality but is comfortable.

here are a couple active threads FSK has about Mic's and headsets.. Though I havent used it the one fear has looks to be a good bang for the buck.

well just go to a local electronics store.. I went to Futureshop and just bought a $5 mic and its doin perfect, even after 3-2 years of using it.

Like dank said these headphones rock. Seriously the first day of use will most likely distract you from playing because of how awesome they are. I recommend them!!!! I think even cleric bought them from my post and he loves them. Worth every penny!

uh...are u sure these work imac? ive read the dep and havent seen a thing that it says it use's imac sofeware...

i just tested it on my macbook. works perfect. plug it in and go to your system prefrences and change it to the USB headset. Even the headphones remote sound volume controls the mac volume.. pretty sweet.!

I bought mine at Staples for $15. It's been going strong for over 2 years now. This is my second one in four years.
