For those who do not know me I am a Senior Administrator for STA. 99% of the time Senior Admins will allow each league's Head Admin to conduct his/her own business, as our responsibilities lie mostly elsewhere.
However, a situation in this league has come to our attention which requires our action. When a Head Admin participates in his/her own league sometimes a conflict of interest may surface.
This conflict of interest has warranted our (Senior) involvment since a decision has been made that will directly effect an upcoming match involving the Head Admins clan.
The player solitary, who competes with the clan War Horses Gallop To A Deadly Beat, has been suspended from STA, effective immediately. This player is guilty of deliberately sending an admin a virus (albeit an extremely weak virus) while that admin attempted to obtain a demo.
This sort of action is absolutely and completely unacceptible. As noted, the virus was extremely weak, furthermore, it was labeled as such to taunt our admins. Nonetheless, the line is drawn right here that this is unacceptible. Had the virus been implemented with any further degree of malice this player would have received a permanent ban from all STA leagues.
solitary has been suspended for the remainder of this season and the suspension will continue until the end of next season. Questions, comments, concerns please email me (@) Please do not send me an email appealing the decision to suspend this player as you will receive no sympathy. He sent an admin a virus; we're just not going to allow such a thing to happen in any capacity.
Players are reminded to always be courteous to admins and forthcoming with any information requested by an admin. If any player feels that same courtesy hasnt been returned by the admin he/she may email the Head Admin, or email the Senior Admins.

Wow i never knew Solidarity would do this... and he has done somthing else as well, and this isn't his first offense.

This was blown way out of proportion for those that have been following the forums. However; the STA administration had to take a stand and they did. IMHO it is a long time over due, but the single offense in and of itself was pretty marginal if that.

To me, it's kinda like hiding in the bushes and shooting cops with a pellet gun or rubber bullets. "Hey, it wasn't THAT serious an offense". But try it and watch what happens.
