[poll] Superman VOTE !!
xyster, Sun Jul 22 2007, 07:38AMI have to ask everyone's opinion about the Superman cycle. I'm tired of getting on the server and seeing it empty with a -6 to 23 score because people were killing only one team ... JUST TO GET IT CYCLED. I spent 20 minutes last night letting POH spawn kill me and Vision to get the damn map cycled.
Superman is for CTF. I think you have tested the map enough. We all know it works for TDM and Capture and Hold. The point is, they suck on that map. Why don't you just make it Follow the Leader and we can all shoot ourselves and get it over with?
I understand it's your server. I understand it's your rules. I understand you want to try out the different modes. But PLEASE... listen to the public. Listen to the peeps who have been commitied to playing Superman and only Superman day in and day out. Understand after all this time, we ALL know the modes work. Hell they work so good, they took all the fun out of the map. That point alone shows you it's a CTF only map.
The map just came out for 4.0, and it's stuck on a TDM cycle.

i will have to agree with xyster about when the map is cycled to CAH. i personaly like it but everone else doesent and the full server leaves with only 3 or 4 peeps left. and when that happens, we all get on the same team to cap as many flags as possable so we can get back to CTF. thats why maby a cap limit or 25 of 50 for CAH would be better. but the sound of the old 40 cap limit on CTF brings music to my ears.

I wish it was more of Wily's maps in addition to Superman. But, I dont get the attraction of the Superman map over and over and over again to begin with...then again, I never understood buying one song from an album either...

Ummm... I believe i was a little too harsh in that first statement. Please don't take it personally.... I think someone pissed in my Cheerios that day.

ya ya ya i get the point,, the superman community wants CTF only.. Well i will give that to you Monday-thursday. but i might toss in some CAH on the weekends. -who knows maybe one of wily's other fun maps like --> ut4_sled?
and Per the request of one of my long time REF admins they requested a 20 capture limit, so i will honer that.
