Superman isnt being a good boy for me
abuse-n-power, Sun Jul 08 2007, 01:02PMhey been trying to get on the superman server for a while and its a no go for me. I downloaded the map and put it in the correct folder but it keeps telling me collision map whenever i try to connect.
TM told me to delete the file and redownload it, but this site has been acting funny the last few days and now when i go to the downloads area and try to download it, its not there, i get an error page. any suggestions?

some times when ppl Dl map from our downloads section it makes the .pk3 a .zip Look at the file you downloaded and manually change the extention to .pks
example
Doesnt work:
ut4_superman_b4.zip
Works:
ut4_superman_b4.pk3
Give that a shot and make sure you are placing the map in your io directory

Hey Dank, thanks, i was actually putting it in the wrong folder, but this issue jsut came about not sure why all of a sudden, i had all my maps in the quake UT4 folder instead of the standalone one, and being that this was the first time I have played a nonconventional map it not working threw me off.
another question, and one thats more important =) i am trying to dowwnload some maps from the download area and its giving me an error page? for instance try to download superman now.

I've seen it as well. Actually had the guy admit it to all and he turned off the bot. Can't remember his alias though. it was about two weeks ago...

NOTE: We are trying to work out the bugs to allow REF's to ban players.

Yea i just got my ref pw back, lost my bind since 3.8. What you can alwasy do when a ref isn't on it get their guid, name, and time on. Any witnesses. If they do it once, they will do it again... and again.
FSK has strict rules governing the use of banning. We need absolute proof and not just suspision i.e. this is why Dolt gets kicked so much ;>
Abuse, good to see you getting back on Superman. Have been playing it in 4.0 yet? i had to get used to not using the goggles. It sucks, but I eventually find everyone. I never realized I've been playing it so long that I jsut know where ppl are sniping and hiding from.
