Auto-Downloads
hooptiej, Sun Jun 17 2007, 01:58PMi cant seem to get Auto-Downloads to work .. im running IO instead of vanilla, and it just kicks meout wiht the usual "couldnt load" message.
i have the setting turned on, i dont have special permissions or anything.
Do i need to forward a port or anything? i think 27960&61 are already set .
What am i missing?

there are some glitch's with the auto DL. if you are runnin the io version and have auto DL turned on and it still wont download the map, i would suggest dl'n the map from our DL section. http://www.kickassctf.com/download.php

ya I was doing that, as well as i did the terminal enable of the download on my end , and it seemed to fix it , (i had the maps, i was just getting an error in console)

its not gonna download most of the old maps because the BSP and filename of the map are not the same. New maps for 4.0 follow guidelines so that everything will work with the autodownloading.

aha well i seem to have gotten it running, it downloaded fine from hotties after i replied last, just hadnt gotten back with results, Thanks guys
