Skillet, Mon Jun 04 2007, 06:07PMSup everyone. I finally took the time to register with the site. Very nice! FSK seems to have their stuff together, much more than any other clan. Everyone else seems to be just a few people that hang out a little on TS2 and play UrT. FSK seems to be more a community. There seems to be more people willing to take an active role. Keep it up!
I have a reoccurring problem with casa, turnpike and uptown. Every time I play these maps, I go through around 5 minute periods of low fps (down to 15-20 from normally 80-100). During these periods, I notice my ping hits 0 off and on. Some people say that fps is not that big of a deal, but it makes a big difference with me. 20 vs 80 is night and day. If I could get 500 fps, it probably wouldn’t be good enough. J
Anyways, I have a few questions on this. Does anyone have this problem? I have heard that some people have it and some don’t. If so, maybe it is just a config thing and can be remedied without the quick responding dev team. Also, does anyone know if the dev team is aware of this problem?

It's probably just overload on the server, I get the same thing. I have my FPS capped at 100, even though my vid card can handle much higher. My monitor only goes to 85hz so "F" it.
Yo're right though, FSK is one of the best groups of people to frag with. And keep hangin in TS so I can bitch at you more for killing me.

(goatface?) fix your sig dorkus. the infamous FPS bug has been around forever, ive heard video card drivers, i have heard settings, blah blah, will just have to do some config adjusting , turn off blood, and mess with your video card drivers and see if another set work better.

As for your FPS bugs, it is common on the maps you described to have the FPS bug rear its ugly head...again... The only way I have been able to get arround the problem was to build a gaming system that when the FPS bug does come out, I sink to 85 from 125 as apposed to my old system that I would run at 125 then plunge to 15-25 range. It sucks that I spent a $1,200.00 on a PC for a free game but at least I do not have the problem anymore and I can play all the new games if I see fit. 2xcore AMD!

Ok, back on target. How many members does FSK have? I counted 62 members. How many are active in the leagues? How in the heck do you even get to play with that many?

i would say about 10 participate in leagues and the rest are former members or they only show up a few times a year to check in. The list could be narrowed down to current and former membes. I counted maybe 18 I might see on a monthly basis.
