  • I'm playing BF4 on win 8.1 (SSD), AMD FX 8350 - Black Edition and a AMD Radeon R9 270 2GB card. Never had any memory problem. Have all on High. May be it's your ram...

  • no. It is a well kwown trouble (see url in my previous post) with specific condition Windows 8.1, amd 6950 mainly. My computer was previously on windows 7 with the exact same hardware. It just happened after I have reinstalled from scratch with W8.1 AND after the last game patch (beginning of March if i remember well).

I can say now that setting the BF4 exe in windows 7 compatibility mode did the trick for me. I never had a memory leak again (task manager always up now when i play to monitor it).
I do not know about the FPS loss, i did not notice anything about my fps, which are mostly over 80 all the time, but i could make a try with upper video settings which I do not have set since I had troubles.

Anyway it is stable since 3 days with compatibility to Windows 7, i was not able to play 3 rounds without rebooting, if harware was the faulty part it won t have make the trick.

I am happy with that and get ready to see me more often in BF4 !
